The Divine marked my first mainstage design, and it was a powerful introduction to storytelling on a larger scale. This dramatic piece explores the contradictions of performance—revealing its capacity to both obscure and illuminate truth. The narrative is driven by morally complex characters who make grounded, often unidealized choices, which challenged me to create a lighting design that could support the emotional weight and psychological nuance of the piece.
